Skin Boosters is made of a patented mix of hyaluronic acid and amino acids, which aims to help restore the naturally youthful look of the skin by the generation of new Extra-Cellular Matrix (ECM) stimulated by the production of new collagen and elastin.

Once injected, the product will stimulate the activity of skin fibroblasts and the synthesis of collagen and elastin, the two most important structural proteins of our skin. This basically means it helps to restore the biological functions of the skin, improving facial volume loss, reducing wrinkles, and improving skin hydration, texture and tone.

Skin Boosters can be used on the face, around the eyes, eye bags, forehead, neck, décolleté, and more! This treatment is ideal if you have loose, crepey, thin skin and/or a loss of volume around your eyes. It is also suited to help with lines, wrinkles, crepiness, volume-loss and laxity on your neck and face. It can even help reduce dark circles under the eye by thickening the skin, and elastin stimulation can help reduce eye bags.

What’s the difference between Profhilo® and Skin Boosters?

There are many similarities between Profhilo® and Skin Boosters but, in our experience, Skin Boosters is generally better suited for skin with more advanced signs of ageing. Skin Boosters refreshes, firms and smooths the skin and give skin its’ ‘glow’ back in those who have more advanced signs of skin ageing. Skin Boosters is able to treat signs of ageing on the forehead and around the eyes as well as the centre and peripherals of the face. Skin Boosters is able to treat concerns around the mouth, for example, lines above the top lip as well be used to volumise the tissue Skin Boosters also has a special formulation for more mature/aged/sun damaged skin, so is suitable for all ages from late 20s onwards!

What happens during and after the Skin Boosters injections Treatment

Before your treatment begins a Medical trained professional will outline exactly what After to expect. Numbing Cream is applied to the area prior to treatment. The actual treatment usually takes 30 minutes. During the treatment the product is injected using very fine needles in the effective area.

Results can be seen immediately. To maintain the appearance the treatment will need to be repeated once a week for 4 weeks, another one 2 months later, then maintain every 6 months.
