    Facial /Body Rejuvination – Injectables

Your face is the first thing that people notice about you. But when your appearance no longer reflects the way you feel on the inside, it may be time for a change.

In time, your skin loses its full, firm, youthful appearance. From the age of 30 onwards we start losing significant collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin. As a result, our skin becomes loose and starts to wrinkle.

In some, the tissue quality has dropped more rapidly, and a person can look older than their actual age. If you feel the quality of your facial and body tissue has started to become lax or is drooping significantly or maybe you are looking older than your age, you should consider the following treatment options.

    OUR TREATMENT LIST

    ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENTS

The ageing process is not kind to our skin! A lack of collagen and a decrease in elasticity causes lines and wrinkles appear. Some people are just happy to accept this as part of becoming older, but for others…….. there are anti-wrinkle injections!

Anti-wrinkle injections are a well known and trusted name in the fight against getting older. It involves the injection of the Anti-wrinkle injections solution to problem areas such as crows feet, foreheads or around the mouth. The treatment works by relaxing the muscle in the chosen area and subsequently creates a smooth more youthful looking complexion.

What areas are suitable for Anti-wrinkle injections?

Forehead and between the brows, crow’s feet, lines at the bridge of the nose, necklines, lines around the lips.

What age should I start having Anti-wrinkle injections?

Many people think about having anti-wrinkle injections around the age of 35. As a general rule, anti wrinkle treatments become an option as dynamic lines (frown lines, smile lines) are constantly visible. Lifestyle can be a factor. For example if smoke or are often exposed to the sun, you may decide to consider treatment at an earlier age. For patients heading into their 50s, treatment may be less effective as lines have become well established and deeper set.

Is Anti-wrinkle injections a safe treatment?

Rest assured that your practitioner will be medical trained and have had extensive training and experience in carrying out anti-wrinkle injections treatments. Anti-wrinkle injections are a safe, fast and very affordable solution for those wanting to turn back the clock. For patients who are looking for a more dramatic end result, Anti-wrinkle injections can be combined with a variety of other treatments including HIFU and Lipo Firm Pro.

    How does Anti-wrinkle injections work?

The nerve endings in the body naturally release a substance called acetylcholine, this causes muscles to contract. The Anti-wrinkle injections solution contains a substance which is specifically designed to stop the release of acetylcholine. When the muscle is more relaxed the face appears smoother and the appearance of lines is massively reduced.

    BOTOX

What other conditions is Anti-wrinkle injections used for?

    Migraines:

For long term sufferers of migraines, Anti-wrinkle injections is a valued solution. The Anti-wrinkle injections solution blocks the neurotransmitters which cause a person to experience pain. To ensure maximum effect the treatment should be repeated every twelve weeks.

    Excessive Sweating:

Anti-wrinkle injections interrupt the signal between the brain and the sweat glands, eliminating excessive sweating. A patient will need to repeat the treatment every 3-6 months.

    Blushing:

Many people experience blushing over the face, neck and chest when in high pressure situations. Anti-wrinkle injections can help reduce this effect by blocking the signals between the nerve cells that reach the skin and blood vessels.

    Gummy Smile:

When Anti-wrinkle injections is injected into the muscle above the lip it prevents it from being lifted as high and reduces the impact of a gummy smile.

    Nefertiti Neck Lift:

Lines and wrinkles do not only cause problems on the face, the also extend to the neck. Anti-wrinkle injections is effective for horizontal and vertical lines ensuring it looks more youthful.

    LIP FLIP

Anti-wrinkle injections for a lip flip is a cosmetic procedure that involves injecting into the muscles around the upper lip to create the appearance of a fuller, more lifted upper lip. During the procedure, a small amount of Anti-Wrinkle is injected into the orbicularis oris muscle, which encircles the mouth.

By selectively weakening this muscle, this can help relax the upper lip, causing it to roll slightly upward and outward, giving the appearance of a “lip flip.”

    MARIONETTE LINES

Anti-wrinkle injections for marionette lines can be an effective treatment option for softening the appearance of these lines. Marionette lines are the vertical lines that extend downward from the corners of the mouth and can give the face a sad or aged appearance. Anti-wrinkle injections, works by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for creating these lines, thereby reducing their visibility

Anti-wrinkle injections can be combined with other cosmetic procedures, such as dermal fillers, to achieve optimal results. Fillers can help to add volume to the areas around the marionette lines, further reducing their appearance.

    TEETH GRINDING/JAWLINE SLIMING/BRUXISM

Anti-wrinkle injections for jawline slimming, also known as masseter reduction, have become increasingly popular as a non-surgical option for reshaping the lower face.

Here’s some information about this treatment:

Anti-wrinkle is injected into the masseter muscles, which are the large muscles on the sides of the jaw. These muscles are responsible for chewing and clenching the jaw. By selectively weakening these muscles, Anti-wrinkle injections can reduce their size and prominence, resulting in a slimmer jawline. The results of jawline slimming with Anti-wrinkle injections are not immediate and typically become noticeable gradually over the course of several weeks. It may take up to one to two months to see the full effects of the treatment.

This can also be used to help stop teeth grinding, also known as bruxism, has become a viable treatment option for some individuals. During the procedure, Botox is injected into the masseter and temporalis muscles, which are the muscles responsible for jaw movement during grinding or clenching of teeth. By weakening these mus- cles, Anti-wrinkle injections can reduce the intensity of teeth grinding and clenching.

What happens during and after the Anti-wrinkle injections Treatment?

Before your treatment begins a Medical trained professional will outline exactly what to expect. A fine needle will deliver the Anti-wrinkle injections solution directly into the problem areas.

Depending on which areas are being treated, the sessions can last between 15-45 mins. The treatment is done on a walk in, was out basis with no time required for recovery. To avoid bruising, it is advised that certain medications be stopped prior to the appointment.

Results will be seen in 2- 7 days. To maintain the appearance the treatment will need to be repeated within 3-6 monthstime.

After your treatment, please closely follow the aftercare advice given to you by your Medical Injector.

    DERMA FILLERS

Dermal fillers are a non-surgical cosmetic treatment for adding volume to areas of the face, giving them a refreshed and more youthful appearance.

Derma fillers are hyaluronic acid which are a natural filler that is injected directly into the skin to reduce the signs of ageing, fill out wrinkles, creases and improve overall skin quality, by adding moisture back where it is needed. They also add volume, to either restore volume lost over time, or to provide a subtle enhancement, leaving you feeling confident.

    Lips

The lips can be injected with dermal filler either in the body of the lip to boost fullness or the border of the lips to increase definition. This treatment is ideal for correcting thin lips but can also help solve problems with a downward smile and the need to lengthen the mouth

    Before

    After

    Vermillion border Smoker’s lines

These are the vertical lines above the lip that appear when you pout. They are mostly caused by regular lip move- ments but are also called smokers lines, because regular smoking means pressing the lips together. If your lines are deep enough then they can be drastically reduced with a small amount of injectable filler to achieve a smoother appearance.

    Naso-labial folds

Commonly known as the smile or laughter lines, these are the two skin folds that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. If you are bothered by your nasolabial folds, and wonder what to do to improve the area then filler is perfect to fill out these folds, and partnered with cheek filler the face will appear much younger looking.

    Mouth corners

Sometimes the corners of your mouth can droop leaving you looking unhappy. Dermal filler can be placed below the corners of the mouth with a small amount directly into the corners of the lips.

    Marionette lines

Marionette lines run between the corners of the lips down towards the chin and jaw giving a puppet-like effect. As we age, our facial bones become smaller resulting in lines like these appearing. Dermal filler is great for filling in these lines making them less prominent.

    Cheeks

As you age you lose an amount of subcutaneous fat which can result in a loss of volume and elasticity to the face. This in turn highlights hollow cheek bones, and the presence of excess skin resulting in sunken cheeks. This can cause someone to appear gaunt and tired-looking. Dermal fillers can be injected into this area to plump out the face with natural volume and a gentle lift. This is an advanced technique and is offered at one of our specialist training days.

    Hands

Hands are a new use for fillers, patients have found that the use of the fillers in their face is great for concealing their real age, but then it is often their hands that give it away. Ageing hands lose volume and the skin appears thinner. Having filler injected into the skin on the back of the hands can make them appear plumper and less veiny.

    Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping)

Nose filler is an alternative rhinoplasty, or the ‘non-surgical nose job’. Nose filler is an incredibly resourceful and minimally invasive way of adapting the natural contours of the nose using injectables. Nose filler can make the nose appear smaller, smoother or more defined, and is a much less harsh course of action than traditional Rhinoplasty. With results that can be seen immediately, Nose Filler is a semi-permanent, non-surgical solution to nasal woes such as: sunken bridges, asymmetry, protrusion, broadness, grooves, humps or kinks. This treatment involves very little pain and absolutely no downtime

    Non-Surgical Jaw Enhancement

Non-Surgical Jaw Enhancement’ or ‘Mandible Augmentation’, is a cosmetic procedure which makes use of a softer gel-based filler to create a natural boost to the lower face. This specially formulated filler is more malleable, allowing it to settle into the intricate contours of the face where injected. Whether it is to create a strong masculine jaw, or rather the illusion of shapely feminine elegance and poise, the placement of filler along the jawbone can work absolute wonders on our facial silhouette. It is a procedure both loved and relied upon by many patients – both male and female.

    Chin Augmentation

Chin Filler can enhance the overall appearance of the chin area. Dermal Fillers are an excellent way to shape and adjust a more satisfactory profile. An under formed or weak chin can be genetic and can pitch into a patient’s overall confidence. Dermal Filler can be used on the chin to stiffen the skin and define the chin and jowl area, lessening the weakness of a weak chin. Chin filler can lengthen and enhance one’s lower facial appearance creating a more balanced profile.

    Tear Trough

Tear trough rejuvenation is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment for patients with lower eyelid dark circles or dark hollows (also referred to as ‘tear troughs’ or ‘tear trough defects’).

In the lower eyelid a weakening of the orbital septum, and in the cheek area (the ‘mid-face’) a loss of soft tissue volume, tend to accentuate the appearance of the lower bony orbital margin which lies between the lower eyelid and the cheek. This also leads to the appearance of lower eyelid fat pockets (‘eye bags’) and together these can lead to a dark shadow or hollow beneath the eyes (a ‘tear trough defect’). This may result in a dreary appearance that can make you appear older. This can also deteriorate when stressed or tired.

The Tear Trough treatment can eliminate these unruly dark circles and rescue your youthful appearance. This treatment is very popular for those who want to achieve natural-looking results without the need for invasive surgery. A suitable candidate for tear trough filler must have sufficient hollowness with thick redundant skin. This enables the low-density filler to sit well within the tear-trough.

What happens during and after the derma-filler injections Treatment?

Before your treatment begins a Medical trained profession- al will outline exactly what to expect. Numbing cream will be applied to the area to be treated. A fine needle will deliver the Derma Filler solution directly into the problem areas. Depending on which areas are being treated, the sessions can last between 15-45 mins. To avoid bruising, it is advised that certain medications be stopped prior to the appointment.

Results will be seen in 2- 7 days. To maintain the appearance the treatment will need to be repeated within 6-12 months time.

After your treatment, please closely follow the aftercare advice given to you by your Medical Injector.

    FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS

Those annoying small pockets of fat under your chin, around your thighs, on your tummy or under your bra strap can now be reduced without surgery – thanks to revolutionary fat-dissolving injections.

Fat Dissoliving injections break down fat in a controlled way, so your body can safely remove it through its lymphatic system. This simple and effective procedure shrinks double chins as well as improving the definition of the jawline. The treatment contracts the skin in order to achieve a more streamlined, youthful appearance.

Fat Dissoliving Injections typically requires a course of two to four treatments with four to six-week intervals between each session. Although the procedure doesn’t hurt, you should expect some swelling which can take up to three weeks to subside. Although the fat doesn’t come back, Unlike liposuction, Fat Dissoliving normally leads to a degree of skin contraction too, so you’re less likely to end up with loose skin around the areas which have been treated. This treatment can be administered over the entire body specifically in the following areas:

    • Double chin
    • Jowl
    • Upper arms / Bingo wings
    • Stomach
    • Love handles / waist
    • Hips
    • Inner / Outer thighs
    • Buttocks
    • Knees
    • Back
    • Breast (men) / Moobs
    • Bra bulge

    How does this work?

The active ingredient of this medication induces a process called lipolysis, where the fat cells rupture and die. This process begins with it breaking down the fat cell wall, releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. The body’s lymphatic system then removes the fatty liquid through the venous system, where it is then processed in the same way as fatty foods are digested.

What happens during and after the Fat Dissoliving injections treatment?

Before your treatment begins a Medical trained professional will outline exactly what to expect. The product is mixed with local anaesthesia. It is then injected into the area with a fine needle to introduce the product. Some massage is then applied.

The time taken for a treatment session will depend upon the size of the area and indication being treated. Treatment can take between 30 – 60 minutes per treatment and you will typically require 2 – 8 treatments, 4 weeks apart. Some people may see significant results after 1 or 2 sessions. Treatment for fat pockets underneath the neck and chin, for example, may require 1 – 3 treatments of 2 – 3 injections, while treatment for fat pockets on the hips and thighs may require 8 treatments.

After your treatment, please closely follow the aftercare advice given to you by your Medical Injector.

    IV DRIPS

A vitamin-infused IV drip is a medical treatment in which a solution containing a combination of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients is administered directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous (IV) line. This method allows for rapid absorption of nutrients by bypassing the digestive system, leading to potentially faster and more efficient delivery to the cells throughout the body.

    Vitamins

IV drips contain various vitamins, including vitamin C, B vitamins (such as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12), and vitamin D. These vitamins play essential roles in various bodily functions, including immune function, energy production, metabolism, and tissue repair.

    Amino Acids

Certain IV drips may contain amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins. Amino acids play crucial roles in muscle repair and growth, neurotransmitter synthesis, and overall metabolic function.

    Minerals

IV drips may also contain minerals such as magnesium, calcium, and zinc. These minerals are involved in numerous physiological processes, including muscle function, bone health, and immune support.

    Antioxidants

Some IV drips include antioxidants like glutathione, which help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals and oxidative stress. Glutathione is known for its potential benefits in promoting detoxification, supporting liver health, and improving skin complexion.

The potential benefits of vitamin-infused IV drips may include:

    Increased Hydration

IV drips can help replenish fluids and electrolytes more rapidly than oral hydration, making them beneficial for individuals who are dehydrated due to illness, exercise, or other factors.

    Boosted Immune Function

IV drips containing vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants may help support immune function and reduce the duration and severity of illnesses such as the common cold or flu.

    Enhanced Nutrient Absorption

By delivering nutrients directly into the bloodstream, IV drips bypass the digestive system, allowing for more efficient absorption and utilization by the body’s cells.

    Improved Energy Levels

Some people report feeling more energized and revitalized after receiving a vitamin-infused IV drip, possibly due to the replenishment of essential nutrients and hydration.

    Enhanced Nutrient Absorption

By delivering nutrients directly into the bloodstream, IV drips bypass the digestive system, allowing for more efficient absorption and utilization by the body’s cells.

    VITAMIN INJECTIONS

Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps keep the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all cells. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent megaloblastic anaemia that makes people tired and week. A woman’s ability to absorb vitamin B12 gradually decreases with age.

    Benefits of b12 injections

    • Improves your metabolism
    • Able to burn calories more effectively
    • Improves quality of sleep
    • Increasing concentration
    • Lifts your mood
    • Fights off infection
    • Increases energy levels.
    • Improves hair growth

What happens during and after the b12 injection treatment

The active ingredient of this medication induces a process called lipolysis, where the fat cells rupture and die. This process begins with it breaking down the fat cell wall, releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. The body’s lymphatic system then removes the fatty liquid through the venous system, where it is then processed in the same way as fatty foods are digested.

    Kenalog injections

A Kenalog injection contains the medication triamcinolone acetonide, which is a corticosteroid. Kenalog injections are commonly used for a variety of medical conditions to reduce inflammation, relieve symptoms, and treat specific ailments. Here are some common uses of Kenalog injections:

    Allergic Reactions

Kenalog injections may be used to treat severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis, when other treatments are not effective or feasible. They can help reduce swelling, inflammation, and itching associated with severe allergic reactions.

    Skin Conditions

Kenalog injections are used to treat various skin conditions characterized by inflammation and itching, such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. They can help reduce inflammation, relieve itching, and promote healing of the skin.

    Joint Pain and Inflammation

Kenalog injections can be injected directly into joints affected by arthritis or other inflammatory conditions to reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness. They are commonly used for conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout.

    Allergic Rhinitis

Kenalog injections may be used to treat severe cases of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) when other treatments are ineffective. They can help reduce nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, and other symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.

    Keloid Scars

Kenalog injections are sometimes used to treat keloid scars, which are raised, thickened scars that can develop after injury or surgery. Kenalog injections can help reduce the size and appearance of keloid scars by reducing inflammation and promoting collagen breakdown.

OTHER VITAMIN INJECTIONS CAN BE ADMINISTERED ON REQUEST

Vitamin C, magnesium, and calcium. IV vitamin drips may also contain amino acids (the building blocks of protein) and antioxidants, such as glutathione.

    THREADS

    COG THREADS

Cog threads, also known as PDO (polydioxanone) threads or thread lifts, are a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face and body. They consist of dissolvable threads made of a biocompatible material called polydioxanone, which is commonly used in surgical sutures

Cog thread lifts are typically used to address sagging skin and tissue laxity in areas such as the cheeks, jowls, jawline, neck, and brows. They are often preferred by individuals seeking a less invasive alternative to traditional surgical facelifts, as they involve minimal downtime and carry fewer risks and side effects.

    Here’s how cog threads work:

    Insertion

During a thread lift procedure, a healthcare provider inserts the cog threads into the skin using a thin needle or cannula. The threads are strategically placed in the deeper layers of the skin to provide support and lift to areas of sagging or laxity.

    Collagen Stimulation

In addition to providing an immediate mechanical lift, cog threads stimulate the body’s natural healing response. As the threads dissolve over time, they trigger the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. This leads to gradual improvements in skin texture, firmness, and elasticity, resulting in longer-lasting rejuvenation effects.

    Mechanical Lift

Cog threads have a unique design with tiny barbs or cogs along their length. These barbs anchor the threads to the surrounding tissues, allowing them to pull and lift the skin when tension is applied. This creates an immediate lifting effect, similar to the results achieved with traditional surgical facelifts.

    Biodegradation

Similar to cog threads, polydioxanone threads are gradually broken down and absorbed by the body over several months. As the threads dissolve, the newly formed collagen fibers provide ongoing support and structure to the treated areas, prolonging the rejuvenation effects.

    Results

The results of a mono thread treatment are visible gradually over the course of several weeks to months as collagen production increases. While the initial lifting effect may be subtle, the overall improvement in skin quality and firmness can be long-lasting, lasting for up to a year or more.

    MONO THREADS

Mono threads, also known as monofilament threads, are another type of absorbable thread used in cosmeticprocedures for skin rejuvenation and lifting. Like cog threads, mono threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO), a biocompatible material commonly used in surgical sutures. However, unlike cog threads, mono threads do not have barbs or cogs along their length.

Mono threads are commonly used to address skin laxity, fine lines, and wrinkles in areas such as the cheeks, jawline, neck, and décolletage. They are often preferred by individuals seeking a minimally invasive alternative to surgical facelifts or as a complement to other cosmetic procedures.

    Here’s how mono threads work:

    Insertion

Mono threads are inserted into the skin using a thin needle or cannula. They are placed in a mesh-like pattern beneath the skin’s surface to provide support and stimulate collagen production.

    Collagen Stimulation

Once inserted, mono threads stimulate the body’s natural healing response. As the threads dissolve over time, they trigger the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. This leads to gradual improvements in skin texture, firmness, and elasticity, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.

    Tissue Tightening

While mono threads do not have barbs like cog threads, they still provide a subtle lifting and tightening effect by gently compressing the surrounding tissues. This helps to improve skin laxity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

    Biodegradation

Polydioxanone, the material used to make cog threads, is gradually broken down and absorbed by the body over several months. As the threads dissolve, the newly formed collagen fibers provide ongoing support and structure to the treated areas, prolonging the lifting and tightening effects.

    Results

The results of a cog thread lift are visible immediately after the procedure and continue to improve over the following weeks as collagen production increases. While the initial lifting effect may last for several months, the overall rejuvenation effects can persist for up to a year or more, depending on individual factors such as skin quality, lifestyle, and aging process.

    MACHINE TREATMENTS

    Skin Lifting and Tightening

HIFU – HIGH INTENSE FOCUSED ULTRASOUND

The ULTRAFORMER III HIFU is an optimum, non-invasive ultrasound device which is essentially a skin tightening treatment that is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles targeted around the face, brow, jowl and neck regions. It also delivers visible effects in facial contouring, fine lines and wrinkles. It’s a non- invasive cosmetic treatment that targets deep layers of the skin encouraging the production of new collagen resulting in a tighter, firm and youthful skin.

Our HIFU treatment uses Ultrasound energy which can target the deep structural layers of the skin. By targeting heat at specific depths, we can kick start the body’s healing response, this naturally increases the levels of collagen in the tissues. As collagen increases, this leads to a gentle lifting and tightening of the skin. Helping to reduce the signs of ageing, for a younger, more refreshed appearance. HIFU is able to reach tissues that other anti-ageing treatments can’t affect. This makes HIFU a very popular alternative to surgery or more invasive treatments such as thread lifts or injectable toxins and fillers

    Areas treated with HIFU?

    • Lifting and tightening the jowls
    • Mid-face contouring
    • Nose to mouth line reduction

    TATTOO REMOVAL

Laser tattoo removal works by using specific wavelengths of light to target and break down the ink particles in the skin. Here’s how the process typically works:

    Selection of Laser

A qualified provider or licensed laser technician selects a laser device with the appropriate wavelength to target the colours of ink present in the tattoo. Different colours of ink absorb different wavelengths of light, so multiple lasers may be needed to effectively remove a multi-coloured tattoo.

    Breaking Down the Ink

As the ink particles absorb the laser energy, they begin to break down into smaller fragments. These smaller ink particles are more easily recognized and removed by the body’s immune system over time.

    Targeting the Ink

The laser emits pulses of light energy, which are directed onto the surface of the skin where the tattoo is located. The light energy is absorbed by the ink particles in the skin, causing them to heat up and fragment into smaller particles.

    Natural Removal Process

After the laser treatment, the body’s immune system works to gradually eliminate the fragmented ink particles from the treated area. This process typically occurs over several weeks to months, with the tattoo gradually fading with each subsequent treatment session.

    Multiple Treatment Sessions

Complete removal of a tattoo usually requires multiple treatment sessions spaced several weeks apart. The number of sessions needed depends on various factors, including the size, colour, and depth of the tattoo, as well as the individual’s skin type and response to treatment.

    Post-Treatment Care

After each laser tattoo removal session, it’s essential to follow post-treatment care instructions provided by your healthcare provider. This may include keeping the treated area clean and protected from sun exposure, avoiding picking or scratching at the skin, and applying topical ointments or moisturizers as recommended.

It’s important to note that while laser tattoo removal can significantly fade or remove unwanted various factors. Additionally, some colours of ink may be more challenging to remove than others, and certain tattoos may require more extensive treatment or alternative approaches, such as surgical excision or cover-up tattoos.

    CO2 CARBON LASER SKIN THERAPY

CO2 carbon laser treatment, also known as fractional CO2 laser resurfacing, is an advanced cosmetic procedure used to improve the appearance of the skin by targeting various skin concerns, including wrinkles, fine lines, scars, uneven skin tone, and texture irregularities. Here’s how CO2 carbon laser treatment works and what it entails:

    Laser Technology

CO2 carbon laser treatment utilizes a high-energy laser beam emitted in a specific wavelength of light (usually in the infrared spectrum) to target and heat up the water molecules in the skin’s tissues. This causes controlled thermal damage to the skin, triggering a natura

    Skin Resurfacing

The controlled thermal damage induced by the CO2 carbon laser promotes skin resurfacing and regeneration. As the skin heals, old, damaged skin cells are sloughed off, revealing smoother, healthier, and more youthful-looking skin underneath

    Treatment Areas

CO2 carbon laser treatment can be used to address a variety of skin concerns on the face, neck, chest, and other areas of the body. It is commonly used to treat wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, sun damage, age spots, uneven skin tone, and texture irregularities.

    Fractional Approach

CO2 carbon laser treatment typically employs a fractional approach, meaning that only a fraction of the skin’s surface is treated during each session. The laser creates microscopic columns of thermal injury, leaving surrounding areas of skin intact. This allows for faster healing and reduces the risk of complications compared to traditional full-field laser resurfacing.

    Collagen Stimulation

One of the key benefits of CO2 carbon laser treatment is its ability to stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. Collagen is a protein that provides structure, firmness, and elasticity to the skin. By promoting collagen synthesis, CO2 carbon laser treatment helps to improve skin firmness, texture, and overall appearance.

    Customizable Settings

CO2 carbon laser treatment can be customized to suit individual skin types, concerns, and treatment goals. The laser settings, including energy level, pulse duration, and density, can be adjusted to optimize results while minimizing the risk of side effects.

    Downtime and Recovery

While CO2 carbon laser treatment is highly effective, it typically requires a period of downtime for the skin to heal. Patients may experience redness, swelling, and peeling in the days following treatment, which gradually improves over the course of several days to weeks.

Overall, CO2 carbon laser treatment is a powerful and versatile option for skin rejuvenation, offering significant improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. It’s essential to consult with a qualified dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon to determine if CO2 carbon laser treatment is the right option for you and to discuss your treatment goals and expectations.

    FACIALS

A facial is essentially a multi-step skin treatment that is one of the best ways to take care of your skin. A facial cleanse, exfoliates, and nourishes the skin, promoting a clear, well-hydrated complexion and can help your skin look younger. You also receive advice on the best way to take care of your skin. A facial works best when it is part of an on-going program of skin care.

    Steam

Most facials use a machine that directs a thin vapor of warm steam to your face. This is relaxing and helps softens up any blackheads and whiteheads to be extracted. If you have very sensitive skin, the aesthetic practitioner may not use steam.

    Facial massage

Using classic strokes like effleurage to both relax you and stimulate your skin and facial muscles.

    Exfoliation

Exfoliating the skin uses mechanical or chemical substanc- es. Mechanical exfoliants have a gritty texture that rubs away the surface dead skin cells. This type of exfoliation usually happens during the steam. Chemical exfoliation uses enzymes and acids to loosen the bond between skin cells. A gentle enzyme treatment can be done during the steam. Stronger chemical peels, which vary in intensity, can be a stand-alone treatment or part of the facial. It is not generally an “upgrade” and done in a series

    Facial mask

A mask is targeted to your skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive, mature) and condition. During the facial, the aesthetic practitioner will give you a scalp massage or hand and arm massage.

    Extractions

This is the removal of blackheads or whiteheads if you want it and need it. People have different pain tolerance for extractions. They can be uncomfortable, especially on thin or ruddy skin. Extractions can cause broken capillaries and discoloration if not done improperly.

    Final application

An application of toner, serums, moisturizer, and sunscreen is given.

What happens during and after the Facial Treatment

Before your treatment begins an Aesthetic Practitioner will outline exactly what to expect. The actual treatment usually takes 30 mins plus depending on type of facial. The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable straight away after your first treatment. For long term results we would recommend repeating the treatment weekly.

After your treatment, please closely follow the aftercare advice given to you by your Aesthetic Practitioner.

    DERMAPLANING

Micro needling helps combat the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, stretch marks and cellulite. It will improve the overall skin texture/tone; plump and list areas of sagging, brighten the face, facili- tate better absorption of products into the skin and can even encourage the growth of hair in areas of hair loss. It is suitable for both men and women and can be used on all skin types – even on sensitive areas such as around the eyes, the neck and the backs of the hands.

We use a new state-of-the-art micro needling device called InnoPen, containing lots of tiny needles that are carefully moved across the skin to create superficial puncture wounds. This trigger new production of collagen and elastin, resulting in softening of facial lines, as well as a complexion that looks firmer, brighter and far more hydrated.

What happens during and after the Dermaplaning Treatment

Before your treatment begins an Aesthetic Practitioner will outline exactly what to expect. The actual treatment usually takes 45 mins plus depending on treatment area.

The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment. For long term results we would recommend repeating the treatment every 3 to 4 weeks.

After your treatment, please closely follow the aftercare advice given to you by your Aesthetic Practitioner.

    BEAUTY

    WAXING

Eyebrow, facial, chin, upper lip, are hair removal proce- dures that involve the application of warm or hot wax to specific areas of the body to remove unwanted hair. Here’s an overview of each:

    Eyebrow Waxing:

Eyebrow waxing is a cosmetic procedure used to shape and remove excess hair from the eyebrows. Hot wax is applied to the areas around the eyebrows, and then a cloth or paper strip is pressed onto the wax. After a brief period, the strip is quickly pulled off, along with the unwanted hair.

    Chin/upper lip Waxing:

Chin/upper lip waxing is a hair removal procedure designed to eliminate unwanted hair from the chin area. Warm or hot wax is applied to the chin/upper lip, and a strip is used to remove the wax along with the hair. This method is commonly used to address fine or coarse hairs on the chin.

    Key Points:

Duration of Results: Waxing typically provides smoother skin for a longer duration compared to shaving because it removes hair from the root

    TINTING

Eyebrow and eyelash tinting are cosmetic procedures that involve applying a semi-permanent dye to the eyebrows or eyelashes to enhance their colour and definition. These treatments are popular for individuals who want to achieve a more defined and polished look without the need for daily makeup application.

    Eyebrow Tinting:

Eyebrow tinting involves using a specially formulated dye to darken the eyebrows. The procedure is typically done in a salon or spa by a trained professional. Here’s an overview of the eyebrow tinting process:

Application of Tint: The tint is carefully applied to the eyebrows, allowing it to develop for a specific period. The length of time the tint is left on depends on the desired colour intensity.

Patch Test: Before the actual tinting procedure, a patch test may be conducted to check for any allergic reactions to the tinting product.

Application of Tint: The tint is carefully applied to the eyebrows, allowing it to develop for a specific period. The length of time the tint is left on depends on the desired colour intensity.

Preparation: The area around the eyebrows is cleaned, and a protective barrier, such as petroleum jelly, may be applied to the skin to prevent staining.

    Removal:

After the development time, the tint is removed, and the eyebrows are cleaned. The result is darker and more defined eyebrows.

    Eyelash Tinting:

Eyelash tinting is a similar process but is specifically focused on darkening the colour of the eyelashes. This can create the appearance of darker and more prominent lashes without the need for mascara. The procedure is similar to eyebrow tinting and is often done in conjunction with it.

    Key Points:

    • Tinting results are semi-permanent and typically last for a few weeks.
    • The procedure is relatively quick, taking around 15 to 30 minutes for both eyebrows and eyelashes.
    • Tinting products are formulated to be safe for use around the eyes, but it’s essential to follow the professional’s guidelines and have a patch test if required.
    • Eyebrow and eyelash tinting can be customised to achieve a natural or more dramatic look, depending on individual preferences.

    LASH LIFT

A lash lift is a cosmetic beauty treatment designed to enhance the natural lashes by giving them a lifted and curled appearance. It is a semi-permanent procedure that provides an alternative to eyelash extensions or the daily use of an eyelash curler. The lash lift treatment is often combined with a lash tint to add colour and definition to the lashes.

Lash lifts are a popular choice for individuals seeking a low-maintenance way to enhance the natural beauty of their lashes.

Here’s an overview of the lash lift process:

    Procedure:

Consultation: The process typically begins with a consultation where the client discusses their desired lash lift outcome with the beauty professional. Factors such as the degree of lift and curl are determined during this stage.

Preparation: The eyes are cleansed, and protective pads or shields are applied to the under-eye area to shield the skin from the perming solution.

Lifting Solution: A lifting solution is applied to the lashes to soften the hair and make it more pliable for shaping.

Lash Placement: The lashes are carefully placed on a silicone or similar lifting tool, shaping them to the desired curl. The lifting solution is then left to set.

Neutralising Solution: After the desired lift is achieved, a neutralizing solution is applied to set the shape of the lashes and neutralize the perming solution.

Lash Tint (Optional): Some clients choose to have their lashes tinted during the lash lift treatment to add color and definition.

Removal of Products: The lifting and tinting products are carefully removed, and the eyes are cleansed.

    Key Points:

Results: A lash lift provides a natural-looking curl and lift to the lashes, making them appear longer and more defined.

Duration: The results of a lash lift typically last about 6 to 8 weeks, which is roughly the natural growth cycle of eyelashes. As new lashes grow in, the lifted effect gradually fades.

Low Maintenance: One of the advantages of a lash lift is that it requires minimal maintenance. There’s no need for daily curling or removal of extensions.

Suitable for Most Lash Types: Lash lifts are generally suitable for individuals with various lash lengths and types. However, individuals with extremely short or sparse lashes may not achieve as dramatic a result.

Avoidance of Water and Heat: It’s recommended to avoid water and heat on the lashes for the first 24 to 48 hours after the treatment to allow the lift to set fully.

    LAMINATED BROWS

Brow lamination, also known as brow lift or brow perming, is a cosmetic beauty treatment designed to shape and set the eyebrow hairs in a more defined and lifted position. This treatment has gained popularity as a way to achieve fuller, more sculpted eyebrows without the need for microblading or permanent makeup. Here’s an overview of the brow lamination process:

    Procedure:

Consultation: The process typically begins with a consultation where the client discusses their desired brow shape and style with the beauty professional. This includes determining the degree of lift and the preferred shape.

Cleansing: The eyebrows are cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or residue.

Application of Lamination Products: A series of specially formulated products, including a lifting cream, setting lotion, and nourishing serum, are applied to the eyebrow hairs. These products work together to reshape and set the brow hairs.

Shaping and Setting: The brow hairs are combed and shaped into the desired position using a brow brush or comb. The setting lotion is applied to hold the hairs in place.

Processing Time: The client’s brows are left to process for a specific amount of time to allow the products to work and set the desired shape.

Neutralising: After the processing time, a neutralising solution is applied to halt the chemical process and lock in the lifted shape.

Nourishing Serum: A nourishing serum or conditioner may be applied to the brows to hydrate and nourish the hair follicles.

Optional Tinting: Some clients may choose to have their eyebrows tinted after the lamination process to add colour and enhance definition.

    Key Points:

Results: Brow lamination provides a more lifted, groomed, and uniform appearance to the eyebrows, making them look fuller and well-defined.

Duration: The results of brow lamination typically last around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. As new brow hairs grow in, the effects gradually fade.

Low Maintenance: Brow lamination is considered a low-maintenance treatment. Clients can enjoy groomed and lifted brows without the daily need for brow gels or pencils.

Suitable for Most Brow Types: Brow lamination is generally suitable for individuals with various brow lengths and types. It is especially beneficial for those with unruly or sparse brows.

Avoid Water and Heat for the First 24 Hours: To allow the lamination to set fully, it’s recommended to avoid water and heat on the brows for the first 24 hours after the treatment.

    MASSAGES

    DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

A deep tissue massage is a therapeutic massage technique that focuses on applying firm pressure and slow strokes to target deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. The primary goal is to alleviate chronic tension and muscle knots, commonly known as adhesions, which can develop due to factors such as poor posture, repetitive movements, or injuries.

Key characteristics of a deep tissue massage include:

Pressure: The massage therapist uses firm pressure and slow, deliberate strokes to reach deep layers of muscles and tissues. This can involve the use of elbows, forearms, knuckles, and thumbs to apply intense pressure.

Targeted Areas: Deep tissue massage typically concentrates on specific areas of the body where there is chronic tension or tightness. Common areas include the neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back, and legs.

Friction and Stripping: Techniques such as friction and stripping involve applying pressure across the muscle fibers to break down adhesions and realign tissue fibers. This can help improve flexibility and reduce muscle tension.

Notable Discomfort: Unlike a Swedish massage, which is known for its gentler strokes, a deep tissue massage may involve some discomfort. It’s important to communicate with the massage therapist to ensure the pressure is within your comfort level.

Stretching: In some cases, the therapist may incorporate stretching techniques to enhance the benefits of the massage and improve flexibility.

    Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage:

Pain Relief: Deep tissue massage can help alleviate chronic pain, including conditions like lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain, and muscle stiffness.

Improved Range of Motion: By targeting deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues, this type of massage can enhance flexibility and improve range of motion.

Injury Rehabilitation: It is often used as part of rehabilitation for sports injuries or other musculoskeletal issues, aiding in the healing process.

Stress Reduction: While deep tissue massage is primarily therapeutic, it can also contribute to overall relaxation and stress reduction by releasing tension in the muscles.

Better Posture: Addressing muscular imbalances and tension can contribute to improved posture and reduced strain on certain muscle groups.

    HOT STONE MASSAGE

What Is a Hot Stone Massage?

Hot Stone Massage, an ancient therapeutic practice, has become a popular relaxation technique in modern wellness. This article will delve into the origins, benefits, and techniques of hot stone massage, exploring its variations, precautions, and DIY tips for enthusiasts.

    A. Definition of Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage involves the use of heated stones to relax and soothe tense muscles. Originating from ancient civilizations, this practice combines the benefits of heat therapy and massage.

    B. Origin and History

Dating back thousands of years, hot stone massage has roots in cultures such as Native American, Egyptian, and Chinese civilizations. Over time, it has evolved into a holistic therapy embraced worldwide.

II. Benefits of Hot Stone Massage

    A. Relaxation and Stress Reduction

The gentle warmth of the stones promotes deep relaxation, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. The heat also aids in calming the nervous system.

    B. Improved Blood Circulation

Hot stone massage enhances blood flow, contributing to better oxygenation and nutrient delivery to tissues. This can alleviate muscle soreness and promote overall well-being.

    C. Alleviation of Muscle Tension and Pain

The combination of heat and massage techniques effectively relieves muscle tension and pain. It’s particularly beneficial for individuals with chronic pain conditions.

III. The Hot Stone Massage Process

    A. Selection of Stones

Special basalt stones are chosen for their heat-retaining properties. These smooth stones are often sourced from riverbeds and volcanic regions.

    B. Stone Heating Techniques

Stones are heated in water and carefully placed on key points of the body, creating a sensation of comfort and warmth. Therapists may also hold and use the stones during the massage.

    C. Placement and Massage Techniques

Stones are strategically placed on the body to target specific areas. Therapists use a combination of Swedish massage techniques and stone manipulation to enhance relaxation.

Hot Stone Massage and Mental Health

    SWEDISH MASSAGE

A Swedish massage is a popular and widely practiced form of therapeutic massage that involves a variety of techniques designed to relax muscles, release tension, and promote overall well-being. Developed by Pehr Henrik Ling in the early 19th century, Swedish massage incorporates a combination of five main strokes, each with specific purposes.

Swedish massage is often recommended for individuals seeking a general relaxation massage, as opposed to more specific therapeutic techniques.

The key strokes used in Swedish massage include:

Effleurage: Long, gliding strokes with the palms, thumbs, or fingertips. Effleurage is often used at the beginning and end of the massage to warm up the muscles and promote relaxation.

Petrissage: Kneading and squeezing movements, usually performed with the hands, thumbs, or fingers. Petrissage helps release tension in the muscles and improves circulation.

Friction: Circular or cross-fiber movements applied with the fingertips, thumbs, or palms. Friction is used to address muscle knots and adhesions, promoting the release of tension.

Tapotement: Rhythmic tapping, chopping, or pounding movements, often performed with the edge of the hands or with cupped hands. Tapotement can stimulate muscles and invigorate the body.

Vibration or Shaking: Fine, rapid movements that create a vibrating or shaking sensation. This technique is used to loosen muscles and induce relaxation.

    Key Characteristics of Swedish Massage:

Gentle to Moderate Pressure: Swedish massage typically uses a lighter to moderate pressure, making it suitable for individuals who prefer a relaxing and soothing massage experience.

Full-Body Approach: A Swedish massage often covers the entire body, including the back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, and feet. However, the therapist can customize the session to focus on specific areas of tension.

Promotes Relaxation: The primary goal of Swedish massage is to promote relaxation and stress relief. It can also enhance circulation and flexibility.

Suitable for Beginners: Swedish massage is a great choice for those new to massage therapy, as it provides a gentle introduction to the benefits of massage.

Enhances Well-Being: In addition to physical benefits, Swedish massage can contribute to a sense of overall well-being by reducing stress and promoting a calm state of mind.

    CUPPING MASSAGE

Cupping massage is a therapeutic technique that involves placing special cups on the skin to create suction. This practice has been used for centuries in various cultures, including traditional Chinese medicine. The cups can be made of glass, bamboo, silicone, or plastic. There are two main types of cupping: dry cupping and wet cupping.

    Dry Cupping:

In dry cupping, the cups are placed on the skin, and a vacuum is created by either heating the cups or using a mechanical suction device.

The suction pulls the skin, underlying tissue, and muscles upward into the cup. This is believed to help stimulate blood flow and promote healing.

    Wet Cupping:

Wet cupping involves a two-step process. Initially, the cups are applied to create suction, similar to dry cupping.

After a few minutes, the cups are removed, and small incisions are made on the skin. The cups are then reapplied to draw out a small amount of blood.

This form of cupping is thought to remove “stagnant” or “toxic” blood and promote the body’s natural healing process.

    How Cupping Works:

The suction created by cupping is believed to mobilise blood flow and promote healing by increasing circulation to the targeted area.

Cupping is often used to alleviate muscle tension, improve blood circulation, and reduce inflammation.

Some people find cupping helpful for conditions like back and neck pain, sore muscles, migraines, and respiratory issues.

What to Expect During a Cupping Session:

Preparation: The therapist will apply oil or lotion to your skin to create a good seal for the cups.

Cup Placement: The cups are placed on specific areas of the body. The therapist may leave them stationary or move them around for a massage-like effect.

Sensation: You may feel a tight sensation as the cups create suction, but it’s generally not painful.
Duration: Cupping sessions typically last for 15-30 minutes.

    Potential Benefits:

Pain Relief: Cupping may help alleviate muscle and joint pain.

Improved Circulation: The suction is believed to stimulate blood flow.

Relaxation: Many people find cupping to be a relaxing experience.

    JAPANSESE HEAD SPA

The Japanese head spa, also known as “head spa treatment” or “head spa therapy,” is a holistic and relaxing hair and scalp treatment that originated in Japan. It’s designed to promote scalp health, stimulate hair growth, and provide a sense of relaxation and well-being.

Overall, the Japanese head spa is a luxurious and pampering experience that not only improves scalp health and promotes hair growth but also provides relaxation and stress relief. It’s an ideal treatment for individuals looking to revitalise their hair and scalp while indulging in a soothing spa experience.

Here’s what typically happens during a Japanese head spa session:

    Scalp Analysis.

The session usually begins with a thorough analysis of the scalp’s condition. The hair and scalp specialist examines the scalp to assess its health, identify any issues such as dryness, oiliness, dandruff, or irritation, and determine the most suitable treatment approach.

    Deep Cleansing

The scalp is cleansed using gentle and nourishing products to remove dirt, excess oil, product buildup, and impurities. This helps to unclog hair follicles, promote scalp health, and create an optimal environment for hair growth.

    Exfoliation

Some Japanese head spa treatments may include exfoliation of the scalp using specialised tools or products. This helps to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote healthy cell turnover, leading to a cleaner and healthier scalp.

    Massage

A key component of the Japanese head spa is the scalp massage, which is performed using various techniques such as kneading, pressure points stimulation, and gentle stretching movements. The massage helps to improve blood circulation to the scalp, relax tense muscles, relieve stress, and promote a sense of relaxation and well-being.

    Treatment Masks and Serums

After cleansing and exfoliating the scalp, nourishing masks or serums are applied to the scalp and hair to provide hydration, nutrients, and targeted treatment to address specific scalp concerns. These products may contain ingredients such as botanical extracts, vitamins, minerals, and essential oils to nourish the scalp and promote healthy hair growth.

    Steam Therapy

Some Japanese head spas incorporate steam therapy into the treatment to enhance the absorption of treatment products and further promote scalp health. The scalp is exposed to gentle steam, which helps to open up the pores, increase circulation, and improve the effectiveness of the treatment.

    Rinsing and Conditioning

After the treatment products have been applied and allowed to penetrate the scalp and hair, they are rinsed off thoroughly. The hair may then be conditioned or treated with a leave-in conditioner to lock in moisture, soften the hair, and enhance manageability.

    SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP

    BROWS

Here’s what you need to know about SMPU brows:

    Procedure

During the SMPU brows procedure, a specialiSed handheld device or machine is used to deposit pigment into the skin in a series of fine, hair-like strokes, simulating the appearance of natural eyebrow hairs. The pigment is carefully matched to the client’s hair colour and skin tone to achieve a seamless and natural look.

    Customisation

SMPU brows can be customised to suit each individual’s preferences and facial features. The technician will work closely with the client to determine the desired shape, arch, thickness, and colour of the brows, taking into account factors such as face shape, eye shape, and personal style.

    Longevity

While SMPU brows are considered semi-permanent and gradually fade over time, they typically last anywhere from several months to a few years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and exposure to sunlight. Periodic touch-up sessions may be required to maintain the desired shape and colour of the brows.

    Safety and Expertise

It’s crucial to have SMPU brows performed by a qualified and experienced technician who has undergone specialized training in micropigmentation techniques. A skilled technician will ensure precise application, proper pigment selection, and adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols to minimize the risk of infection and achieve optimal results.

This may include avoiding excessive sun exposure, refraining from picking or scratching the treated area, and applying specialised aftercare products as recommended.

    Maintenance

While SMPU brows require less maintenance than traditional makeup, periodic touch-up sessions may be necessary to refresh the colour and shape of the brows as the pigment gradually fades over time. These touch-up sessions help prolong the longevity of the SMPU brows and ensure they remain looking fresh and natural.

Overall, SMPU brows can be a convenient and effective solution for achieving beautifully shaped and defined eyebrows that enhance your natural features.

    LIP BLUSH

Lip blush, also known as lip blushing or lip tattooing, is a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the natural colour and shape of the lips. It involves depositing pigment into the lips to create a soft, natural-looking tint, similar to that of a lip stain or tinted lip balm. Here’s what you need to know about lip blush:

    Procedure

During a lip blush procedure, a specialised handheld device or machine is used to deposit pigment into the lips using fine needles or microblade. The pigment is carefully selected to match the client’s natural lip colour or desired shade, and the technician works to enhance the lip shape and define the lip border for a more youthful and balanced appearance.

    Customisation

Lip blush can be customised to suit each individual’s preferences and desired outcome. The technician will work closely with the client to determine the appropriate colour, intensity, and shape of the lips, taking into account factors such as skin tone, lip shape, and personal style.

    Enhancement.

Lip blush can help enhance the natural colour and definition of the lips, making them appear fuller, more symmetrical, and more youthful. It can also help correct issues such as pale or uneven lip colour, asymmetry, or loss of lip definition due to aging or other factors.

    Longevity

While lip blush is considered semi-permanent and gradually fades over time, it typically lasts anywhere from several months to a few years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and exposure to sunlight. Periodic touch-up sessions may be required to maintain the desired colour and shape of the lips.

    Aftercare

Following lip blush treatment, it’s essential to follow the technician’s aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results. This may include avoiding certain foods and activities that may irritate the lips, keeping the lips moisturised, and applying specialised aftercare products as recommended.

Overall, lip blush can be a convenient and effective solution for achieving beautifully tinted and defined lips that enhance your natural beauty.

    EYELINER

SMPU eyeliner, also known as semi-permanent makeup (SMPU) eyeliner or cosmetic tattooing, is a procedure that involves depositing pigment along the lash line to enhance the appearance of the eyes. It is similar to traditional eyeliner makeup but provides longer-lasting results. Here’s what you need to know about SMPU eyeliner:

    Procedure

SMPU eyeliner is typically performed using a specialised handheld device or machine that delivers controlled amounts of pigment to the skin along the lash line. The procedure may involve lining the upper eyelid, lower eyelid, or both, depending on the client’s preferences and desired outcome.

    Customisation

SMPU eyeliner can be customised to suit each individual’s preferences and eye shape. The technician will work closely with the client to determine the appropriate thickness, shape, and colour of the eyeliner, taking into account factors such as eye shape, skin tone, and personal style.

    Enhancement

SMPU eyeliner can help enhance the natural beauty of the eyes by defining the lash line, making the eyes appear larger, more awake, and more youthful. It can also help correct issues such as sparse lashes, uneven eyelid creases, or droopy eyelids.

    Longevity

While SMPU eyeliner is considered semi-permanent and gradually fades over time, it typically lasts anywhere from several months to a few years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and exposure to sunlight. Periodic touch-up sessions may be required to maintain the desired colour and intensity of the eyeliner.

    Aftercare

Following SMPU eyeliner treatment, it’s essential to follow the technician’s aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results. This may include avoiding certain eye makeup products and activities that may irritate the eyes, keeping the eye area clean and moisturised, and applying specialised aftercare products as recommended.
