What is Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy?

Before your treatment begins a Medical trained professional will outline exactly what to expect. At consultation you will be weighed to assess your BMI (Body Mass Index) and a simple blood sugar test will be taken to assess you medically for using the medication. When medically approved, you will receive the slimming pen and be able to commence your Weight Loss Journey immediately.

The slimming pen is a prescription medicine that comes in the form of a self-administered pen which is injected daily into either the tummy, upper arm or thigh area. The needle is as thin as a piece of hair.

The Slimming pen generally lasts 3 – 5 weeks. Each person’s dosage is individual, and some may use it quicker than others.

How does it work?

A full consultation is carried out and your bloods are taken, these blood tests are then sent to the Laboratory for a full analysis to establish what treatment, if any, is suitable for you. Within 2 weeks you will receive a tailored prescriptive treatment to balance your hormone levels.

Each patient will have an individual bespoke hormone After solution designed for them as everyone is different. The bespoke treatment will help with typically common conditions that occur in menopause such as:

  • Hot flushes and night sweats
  • Difficulty sleeping (insomnia)
  • Changes in mood, such as feeling tired, irritable, depressed or anxious
  • Difficulty concentrating or poor memory
  • Changes to the vagina, such as thinning, dryness, discomfort, itching and pain during sex
  • Loss of interest in sex (loss of libido)
  • Urinary problems – such as recurrent urinary tract infections, loss of bladder control (urinary incontinence)
  • Joint aches and pains.
