What is Profhilo®?
Profhilo® is not a filler, it is a completely new product that uses patented technologies engineered for ‘skin remodelling’. It is made from hyaluronic acid like many dermal fillers however rather than filling lines it is designed to promote collagen and elastin growth to reduce skin laxity, Because it is thermally bonded and not chemically bonded it acts as a hydrator not a filler. It is injected just underneath the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with your own tissue to instantly boost hydration.
Any area of the body could be treated with Profhilo® but we most commonly treat the face, neck and hands, décolletage, arms, knees, abdomen area. Profhilo® is suitable for men and women from the age of 30 with no upper age limit.
What happens during and after the Profhilo® injections Treatment
Before your treatment begins a Medical trained professional will outline exactly what to expect. Numbing Cream is applied to the area prior to treatment. The actual treatment usually takes 30 minutes.
During the treatment the product is injected using very fine needles in five specific points on the face that Profhilo® call the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAPs). Once injected, the product immediately starts spreading. It flows and distributes itself evenly, rather than remaining where it is placed, naturally and without resistance integrating within your skin’s existing tissue.
To avoid bruising, it is advised that certain medications be stopped prior to the appointment.
Results will be seen in 2- 7 days. To maintain the appearance the treatment will need to be repeated within 4 weeks time.

How does it work?
